The Cardiff Half Marathon is an annual half marathon race held in the Welsh capital city of Cardiff, taking place in October. The event was established in 2003, initially alongside a marathon, and was originally organised by the children’s charity Barnardo’s.
Last year GoodGym runners from all across the UK took part in the Cardiff Half Marathon, you can read the run report about how it went by clicking here.
To register your place in the Cardiff Half Marathon
Unfortunately General Entry places have now sold out for the half marathon. But don't worry, all is not lost, you can still sign up to run via a charity place., or If you know someone no longer able to run then you can still buy their place from them (The deadline for Transferring places closes on 12th August at midnight).

Here is a spreadsheet to help us keep track of GoodGym runners taking part.
I have created the following spreadsheet to help us keep track of the GoodGym runners / supporters / volunteers taking part in the Cardiff half marathon. I have also included a column about whether you would like to go for food after the run.

What to look out for
Age Restriction
GoodGym welcomes anyone aged 18 or over. If you are under 18 then you will be unable to participate in any GoodGym activity
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety when running and at a task.
If anyone with a race place can't make it, can they let me know (assuming no-one else needs the place), I'm still thinking of doing this one. Thanks.
