A good sized group tonight to add to our good deeds total for the January Challenge (current count is 121, great efforts all round!).

Jen was the kit hero tonight, providing the bag of litter pickers and gloves so I had less to carry!

We started at the front of Eastney Community Centre to the sounds of karate coming from inside. The park didn't look too dirty but once we got our eyes in, we found all sorts.

A double good deed was done by one group, reuniting a piece of carpet / AstroTurf with the wheelchair footrest it had come from.

Rosie spotted a potential police incident which was found to just be some shoes... phew!

Laura and I found the party spot... The hedge by the bus stop was full of beer cans, we pulled them all out and filled Tracey's recycling bag, hope her bin men don't think she's been having a wild party when they collect the green bin tomorrow.

Wilson spotted a comb on the footpath which got picked up and contributed to the run report title.

Judy escaped any fitness activities by wearing wellies but everyone else ran the junior parkrun or walked half of it. There was even a sprint finish between Sam & Maura

We were then treated to some lovely home baked treats by Angela who'd even managed to cater for all the differing dietary requirements, some kind of GG badge should exist for that achievement! Happy Birthday for tomorrow Angela. 🎂
