Four keen goodgymmers joined baffins pond association for their monthly litter pick on a sunny spring morning. A big GG welcome to Joe for his first good deed with goodgym. Lovely to meet you!
As usual at baffins there was copious cigarette butts to pick up around the pond and the squirrels were wild and the gave Joe a friendly 'hitchcock'-esque welcome to the woods.
We met Yvonne and Jane and headed into stag woods and found a treasure trove of litter as well as a rogue lonely boot on the way. After picking up all the cans and bottles and Joe scaling a tree to get some destroyed tarpaulin we headed back to the BPA to hand in our haul.

After a cuppa and a chat it was all hands on bunny ears as the hunt began!
We were tasked with crowd control, customer service, directions and token replenishment.
With great help from 2 megastar mini GGers, all the hunters were successful in finding all 6 colour tokens and happily left with their chocolate loot!
Some very covert token dropping from pockets helped disguise what we were doing to avoid a bundle of treasure hunters!
A very successful event in the lovely spring weather

With a plan of how to place the tokens to make the hunt harder this year we set off to put the tokens in different zones.
Placing some high and some low all the tubs were emptied ready to be found!
Jane got fiddly with the Happy Easter banner and some twine that kept unravelling!

We helped with litter picking for Baffins pond association this morning. Val, Nia and Aoife interrupted a squirrel gathering in the woods and Abby almost had my hat stolen by grandad squirrel.
We circled the woods and picked up lots of sweet wrappers, cigarette butts and pieces of glass. Found some interesting fungi and Judy managed to find 3 tokens from last years Easter egg hunt a year after we hid them!
Finished off with making friends with a lovely Italian greyhound called Wilfred 🐾. Also managed to see a massive swan sitting on his nest! Maybe keeping his eggs warm? Looking forward to seeing some cygnets in the future!

Six goodgymmers collected all the gathered materials and fitted out our bug hotel/palace.
Dave was packing in all of Phil Schofield’s (the rabbit) fur for the mice to enjoy. While Yvonne, Jane and Lynn prepped and cut all the bamboo canes to the correct size.
Judy had collected lots of material from her dog walks and so we ended up with a real beauty in the end.
A 2024 construction with a maximalist interior and exterior. Hopefully ready for a 5* rating on air bee n bee.

GoodGymers had gathered a great collection of nature's bounty, on dog walks, from gardens and allotments, and came with armfuls, ready to fill Buggingham Palace.
