After Jen took me on a moonlit litter pick date last night, I reciprocated with a sunny stroll today!

We found plenty of cans, wrappers and tissue. And a pair of pants of course!

Apparently we hadnt emptied one of the containers as much as we thought, as we left a bin wee trail along the way!

I bought us a couple of ice cream cones to rekindle the romance

This ambitious task involved getting hundreds of kids off and back onto coaches to help achieve a Guinness World Record for the world's largest reading lesson at Portsmouth Football Club stadium.

We got to use our loudest shouting voices and pointing skills and directed traffic along a very busy Rodney Road, but all for a very good cause: learning to read.

There was a lot of fancy dress, but special shout out to Jen for having the best rainbow heart earrings in the whole group.

Low turn-out transformed this week's Group Run into an impromptu date night. I treated Dave to a Blood Moon-lit stroll through the beautiful streets of Fratton and Landport, picking up litter and being praised by random men smoking some special cigarettes.

Finished up with a bev in the local Wetherspoons - who said romance was dead?
