Sadly the equipment was very wet so we couldnt extend the play from last nights group run!
We did find some tools, a pair of socks (from either end of the park!), a mobile.phone case and a baby car seat!
We started in lovely sunshine but Dave Ms optimism of putting on sunglasses was soon redundant when the clouds came over!

Rowans Hospice shop the Emporium are always glad to receive donations.
We looked through cupboards and wardrobes and were able to cobble together items that can be sold.

During one of GGs shifts at the Emporium, till staff were apologetic to customers that they had no bags left.
Cue Team GG to the rescue!
Plenty of bags have been donated to the store and the box is now bursting again!!
Rowans staff will continue to try and ask people to reuse bags or bring their own but sometimes you just forget!

Sasha had a list of jobs 📋 that needed doing this morning.
In true GG fashion we knocked them out of the park 🏏
Non fiction books were price checked and priced 💲
Clothes were rebagged into the correct colour coordination 🎨
Jigsaws were priced and the stock on the shopfloor rotated 🧩 Dave M even found one to purchase for him and Jen to compete after the Make task
Toys were cleaned and made ready for sale 🪀
And 4 bags of donated clothes were put on hangers with the correct size cube added 👕

We tested jigsaw puzzles for Make, ready for them to sell in their newly refurbished charity shop.
And then each of us delivered them back under our own steam to get some January kms.

There were so many of us this evening, we had to take turns doing good! In-between, we were shown around the facilities of the Adventure Playground by the kids. Lots of fun was had on the zip-line, tire swing, slide and cargo net.
We got stuck in with digging initially, then we got to crack out the big guns. A sledgehammer and a crow-bar came in very handy, and we got to witness Liz go wild with an axel grinder!
By the end of the session, we had destroyed the boat carcass, moved the remains to a bonfire pile ready for a viking burial, then even dug up some breeze blocks buried deep under the ground.

Team GG were set up with some boxes if books that had been donated. Sorting the fiction from non and alphabetising the authors.
A large number of GCSE and A level science books were in the collection. Hope the person that dropped them off had got high marks!
We then were let loose on the tagging guns, adding price tags to the new clothes that had come in from the warehouse.
