We enjoyed looking at the water themed art, eating cake and singing and dancing to the Southampton Ukulele band. That got us nicely warmed up to help pack away the event. We carried boxes downstairs, put the tables and chairs back into storage, and swept the floor (with the most unhelpful mop/broom thing!). It was a great event full of smiles. We can't wait for next year!

Ashleigh, Clare and her lovely partner (apologies as I have forgotten his name) and Stephanie popped along to assist in the set up for the fantastic Toes In The Water Art and Music festival. Clare was on hand early in the morning arriving at 7 am to assist the fabulous Rachel and team who run this wonderful community festival. It was an interesting exercise in picture hanging for us all. Still every day is a learning day! Luckily there is always some delicious cake and great music to enjoy once you have got the picture straight!

Thank you to everyone who made my 39th birthday extra special by making donations to their local food bank and restocking Southampton City Farms period products. Only a year for the big 4 0 so we'll have to get planning a very very good task for 2027!

Welcome to Wanda, new to Good Gym and James joining us from Bristol. A great Sunday Stroll around Millers Pond and Sholing Valleys Nature Reserve collecting the usual detritus people drop. We were not surprised to see some cannisters as they are sadly present in many places these days. Although one dog boot and half a cistern were an interesting delight. The cones might come in handy in the future. It was lovely to see the great turnout for their hedge laying course so we will be back to see what other great tasks they have later this year.

Good morning everyone, the location address we have for Peartree Green Nature Reserve can be misleading as this is their official address. We are meeting further down on the main green by the children's playground.
