Another little foray up to Townhill Park Community Centre to finish off the brambles before they finish off me....🤓 Luckily I had another evening of beautiful sunset colours as the sun went down. Fitted in a litter pick before I chopped up a few more brambles and cleared up another section around the centre. Just one more session should clear up the last few brambles which will die down in the coming winter.

Well back to another session clearing up the weeds around Townhill Park Community Centre. It was a beautiful evening to be outside as the sun set. Working solo this evening but had a lovely chat with an older local resident who uses the centre. She was delighted we were part of the team helping to keep the area tidy. I got the chance to explain the Good Gym ethos and how we are making an impact in our local community. Booked another session to hopefully finish off.

It was a warm one on the farm again this evening where Danni had instructions from Tom for us to fill the maze with manure from the muck piles.

We took it in turns shovelling, then transporting down to the maze site where we started to build the beds.

It was hot and smelly work and hopefully didnt put off our fab newcomer Michael who got stuck right in with helping out!

Having been part of the maze build since the beginning its very exciting to see the stage where its at and very rewarding. It was a good session and an extra good workout

A bit of a change from flyering this evening before our main session where instead we got stuck in to creating some fairy doors for the farm to use to help engage children on the farm site.

It was lovely to put our creative skills to use and have a chat as well as meeting the new piggies!

Popped over to Southampton Common to help marshall at the Junior Parkrun. Rather warm but beautiful sunny day even at 9am. A hilarious moment when a miniature terrier grabbed the tokens string and ran off with them! Luckily they were quickly retrieved and put back in order. Always a pleasure to help out and see so many children of all abilities and ages trying their best.
