Today was time for my monthly trip to Police Investigation Centre in Portsmouth to fulfil my role of volunteer Independent Custody Visitor.

Every custody suite in the country is visited at least once a week to check that those in custody are being treated in accordance with the law of the land and the staff are doing as they should.
