we had 7 strong Goodgymers helping out at the foodbank today. It was Veronika's first trip to the foodbank and first goodgym mission! she packed and stacked and helped deliver 16 food parcels feeding more than 30 people. Apologies to Fiona for missing you out of the group photo you were just too busy helping people!!!

All Saints Harvest Festival Foodbank Restocking.

The fields were ploughed. The seed was scattered. They were fed and watered, possibly by a higher being. The snows were sent in winter, along with warmth to swell the grain, breezes, sunshine and soft refreshing rain. Stuff grew. It was harvested and ended up as donations at yesterday’s Harvest Festival. Today I have stacked it all on the shelves ready for Foodbank tomorrow. The cupboard and a no longer bare!

The rain stayed away and the job of crowd control with a rope was given to me - oh the power! The adult 5k was eclipsed by the hundreds of young people showing us oldies how to do it. The future of running in Portsmouth is bright.
