Intrepid GoodGymers took the roads, woods and waters for their Monday Miles this week. Laura was our early-bird, with an early morning cycle to the station, Sinéad made the most of her lunch break and Nia and her teeny GoodGymer headed out to their local Family Hub. Andy braved Southwick Golf Course for his run, whilst Dave hot-footed it to the train station on his way home from work. I think I got nearly as wet on my morning walk as I did at my evening swim!
From showers to sunshine, high winds to high temperatures, this was certainly a fickle day to get out and active!

This week we've seen lots of activities for Diabetes Awareness Week, demonstrating true GoodGym spirit in the fight against diabetes.
Some of us opted for walks, whilst others opted for runs, and some bike rides too! A huge shout out to Tracey in demonstrating true warrior spirit, and to Lucy and Abby who took part in the Hoppit Half Marathon and Marathons.
Well done everyone. It's so good to see you all moving and making the most of the week!

...As Sam L Jackson said in my favourite movie 🎬
The sun 🌞 was shining brightly and the wind 💨 was gusting strongly as we made our way around Canoe Lake.
The countless cigarette butts were certainly making us work hard to keep them in our grasp and bags!
I was very happy to see that the recent gorgeous weather and bbqs hadn't resulted in too horrific littering! 👍

Congratulations on a very productive Monday, everyone!
We had bags of litter collected all over Portsmouth and the surrounding areas, from play areas to car parks.
Special kudos to Andy for managing a double good deed by reuniting a lost phone with its owner. And also to mini GGer Alice, who was unfortunately thwarted in her attempt to to pick up an old car tyre with a litter picker.
Nice one!

A couple of missteps saw some GG-ers having a lie down between the graves!
Fortunately there was no injuries and the falls were laughed off. With the beer cans and bottles collected we did wonder if anyone else had had a stumble!
A lovely morning in the spring warmth saw us clear up the cemetery and leave it in a nice condition.
