Met League XC 2019/2020: Ally Pally
Represent GoodGym Race Team
It’s XC time and we are officially taking part in the 🏁 Met League Cross Country, it's a monthly series of 5 races as follow:
- 12/10/2019 - CLAYBURY
- 9/11/2019 - WELWYN
- 07/12/2019 - UXBRIDGE
- 11/01/2020 - ALLY PALLY
- 08/02/2020 - TRENT PARK
- The cost is 5£ and gives you access to as many races as you want :D #CHEAP
- Payment can be done on the day or via bank transfer

There will be an individual ranking and a team ranking overall, so the more races you do the higher you'll be. 🏆
Here are this year’s divisions:
Women Senior: Division 3 Women Veteran: Division 2 👈🏻💪🏻 Men Senior: Divison 3 Men Veteran: Divison 3
ps: Veteran start at V40 for both Women and Men
⏲️Races are as follow:
7-8k for women starting at 13:30
7k-8k for men starting around 14:35
Please arrived at least 20' early to warm up and get race number, also Men should arrive at the start of women race to cheers on 🔥!
This is how the scoring works 🏅:
All races are scored on a reverse scoring basis, i.e. if there are 50 athletes in a race, the first finisher shall score 50 points, the 50th finisher 1 point.
So your time doesn't matter, it's your finishing position, at the moment you do an amazing sprint finish you'll do well :D #SPRINT
Second claim can also compete for GoodGym at the moment their 1st claim is not competing in Met League

After each race, we will go to the pub to celebrate and eat a bit.

What to look out for
GoodGym welcomes anyone aged 18 or over. If you are under 18 then you will be unable to participate in any GoodGym activity
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety when running and at a task.
New to GoodGym?
This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.
New runners are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.
There's a place to leave bags and a toilet at the start point, all you need to do is bring your trainers. It's free to try - get involved!
