Not only did I fall off the wagon, I dragged it into the woods, set it on fire and used the insurance money to buy cupcakes
As the forecasts have been promising us a lovely heatwave, what better way to start a bank holiday weekend than to visit our lovely community center, 'Living under one Sun'.
The Sun was certainly there to greet us, and so was lovely Layla and our task today- levelling ground and building some pathways.
Four awesome GoodGymers, lovely Latoya (yes that's right, she was there), awesome Annie (for her third task, and second at Layla's), notorious Nurjehan and keen Kapil got to the task at hand, and before long, an hour had just flown by. Latoya missed us so much that she ended up staying double the time and even keeping some of us around ( won't be mentioning names).
Upon completion of the new walkways (and some Rhubarb extraction), we were greeted with some lovely cut oranges and plums and said our good-byes. Join us next time for some more fun while we head out into the Sun.
Come and help Luos get ready to open its doors to the public again. There will be a multitude of tasks and Leyla will no doubt provide us with her winderful oranges during a break. Come. And BRING YOUR MASKS!
One large sofa + one less than ideal doorframe left Latoya and I scratching our heads. However the beneficiary reliably informed us that it had come in through that very same doorway, so we were not going to give up without a fight. The sofa put up a valiant effort but it was no match for two stubborn GGers who were not going to give up and after several mission impossible style contortions later we got the thing through the door. We were rewarded with lemonade and the promise that Mr W was going to pray for us to win the lottery. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
