This week we set the GoodGym community a challenge to spread kindness in their towns and cities all across the UK.

I couldn't think of a better bunch of people for the job!

We had runners, walkers and cyclists from all stretches of the UK take part. From Newcastle to Exeter and London to Portsmouth we spread a little bit of joy where we could by leaving positives notes and messages for others to see and pass on.

Ian from GG Southwark painted a stone outside a local care home to celebrate VE Day and said "It was lovely to have some community purpose to our walk."

Kat from GG Sheffield said "I left a poem for our GG friend to enjoy and collect later in the day, as we enjoy our exercise apart from each other at this time."

Inspired by a similar oyster shell she saw while on a walk earlier that week in Haringey, Sarah left some positive messages for others to find too. She added "I did an equally permissible and Goodgym-y thing and placed them on my way to drop a spare laptop off with a shielding Goodgym friend who doesn't have one."

"Thank you for posting such a lovely task. I thought it was a great idea and I really enjoyed taking part." Jenny from GG Greenwich hopes her painted rocks inspire a little bit of positivity.

Adding to a rainbow a child on her street gave her when she said how much his rainbow gives her hope and helps to keep her going after a tough day. Samia in Kingston felt it was only fitting to pop her message with his!

Up in Newcastle Anji left a lovely note for fellow walkers in her local nature reserve.

Bethan from GG Oxford added some items to the village community larder with positive notes attached. She said, "Hopefully the food will help and the notes will make people smile!"

Klara in Exeter ran to deliver a mini bottle of 'GoodGin' to another Exeter GoodGymer who works for the NHS. She added "She has been a superstar taking part in all our training sessions in Exeter and she’s always so encouraging to all other runners I thought she deserved a little treat :-)".

Nathalie from GG Windsor and Maidenhead said her and her son enjoyed some creativity designing the note, and added "I feel so much better for a run in the fresh air and hope our recipients (neighbours and local friends) spirits are boosted as much as ours were."

"I sent some flowers and a note to a friend of mine who works at the hospital and has been looking after a number of our single friends by delivering care packages and generally checking in on everyone most days. Such a superstar." Kate in Hounslow said.

Maxine in Portsmouth said she got carried away and ended up painting 12 rocks to hide around Portsmouth for others to find!

And Michelle in Ealing made a window sign for key workers, left a note for a new neighbour and left a box of chocolates out for the refuse collectors too. Triple good vibes!
