Discovering more ways to do good
How GoodGym Portsmouth has been going the extra mile with community missions
17 Team Noel Thatcher GoodGymers from around the country took to the roads to run a few extra km for the team! This time the motivation was to record a run in the shape of a letter. Each member had their own letter to create and once the creations were put together we spelt out....GO TEAM NOEL THATCHER...... You're probably wondering how that turned out....check out our photo montage. Thank you to all the runners who took part! Stay safe and keep running!
Mrs. B had run out of a few household essentials so this week's shop came a day early so she could have something for lunch and her cleaning lady would have some items when she arrives tomorrow!
It wasnt a great day for Mrs. B, I think this wet & gloomy weather is getting to all of us, so she seemed happy to have someone to chat to!
We'd normally be joining Southsea Beachwatch, but since we are now in full Lockdown, this is now a virtual litter pick. Instead find any piece of beach that needs Goodgym's attention, and please send Mel Saxbee a picture for the report. We will be re-joining Southsea Beachwatch just as soon as their beach cleans are back up and running.
Baffins Pond Association reached out to us for help in creating their Baffins News 2021 Issue! It was a collective effort from various members of the GG Portsmouth hive, highlighting our different skills!
We had a fitness article from our very own trainer Katie, a white clay recipe and craft idea from Sam, a first experience text & photos from Lilly, gardening anagrams from Mel and fun for kids from Holly! Our resident creative extraordinaire Angela provided the GG advertising and my job was to put all their wonderful work together with the BPA information & other adverts :)
Well done team, magazines should be out for print next week so keep your eyes peeled on picking up your own copy!
