Saturday, 9th of June 2018

On 9th June Mile End Parkrun are celebrating the 70th birthday of the NHS and will be holding a pacing event with us!

It's a lovely 2-lap course with some ‘gentle’ hills to add a bit of a Saturday morning challenge. The beauty of pacing means that you get to have a slightly more relaxed Saturday morning run, while helping other runners to reach their goal (running and doing nice things is what GoodGym's about, after all).

If you’re free on June 9th and fancy this, pick a slot that's around 2-4 minutes behind your recent form and pop your name down on this spreadsheet.

Mile End Parkrun have also invited local NHS staff and would encourage anyone who works for the NHS to wear a part of their uniform or their badge. You're also encouraged to bring along healthy (or not so healthy) snacks to share afterwards to make it a real celebration!

Non-pacers who just want to run are also welcome.

Please arrive for 8.40 to pick up your bib and don’t forget your barcode!
