A lot happened at the run today.

Stefan celebrated his 100th good deed. He's been methodically working his way towards it and deserves a BIG cheer!

Lee came to GoodGym once before the lockdown and today was his second group run. Welcome back Lee!

Ed joined the crew for the first time. He found out about us at the last Beer Runners meet up. Welcome to the team Ed!

At the task we pushed forward and thanks to concentrated efforts the bigger mud mountain is no more. There is some more mud mountain soil remaining in one of the composting compartments and surely Kristina will be asking us to help move and spread it on our next visit.

We were meant to rake arisings from the meadow within the woodland (where the picnic tables are), however it turns out that instead of this one, the other meadow (on the slope) was mown. Since the hay was good for raking four of us grabbed a long wooden rake each and started gathering the mowings.

The third sub-team focussed on tidying up and weeding alongside the newly erected low wooden fence around the wildflower meadow, at the basketball court end of the park. Thanks to the team determination this job was completed in time for the fitness session.

The fitness session today was crab football. We practiced the game two weeks ago and most of us knew the rules and were eager to play. We split up in two teams and played one big game. Each of us participated at 100% and it is fair to say that despite the 5-0 score we were all winners. Vicky deserves a player of the match trophy for her creative ball control and rugby tackles on Ed.

After 10 minutes of fun we headed back home to finish the day with a cool down stretch led by Mitchell and a social visit to the local pub.

Next week we are splitting up in two groups and will be heading to Baile Hill and Little Hob Moor
