Three Goodgymers joined the Fawcett Rd Greening group to weed and water community planters in and around Fawcett Road in Southsea. We came armed with water bottles big and small (and one special leaky one that watered JB's bag and butt...) Thankfully the REAL water butt was nearby to refill our cans!

We tackled some very thorny weeds and pulled up deal plants, added some new geraniums and marigolds, and gave the lavender, mint and other plants a much needed drink.

At the end of a long day, the gardening crew enjoyed a little drink on Albert Rd as reward for a job well done.

GoodGymers donated pre-loved books and a jigsaw to The Havant Spring for their summer sale.

Four Goodgymers and 2 local councillors cleaned up the Albert Road "parklet" in a sunny power hour of gardening, sanding, scrubbing, planting, and sweeping!

We pulled up dead plants and replaced them with fresh flowers for summer, picked up litter, wiped the walls, removed stickers from posts, and team superstar Dave worked to sand and scrub graffiti off the sustainable wood that was used to construct the parklet walls.

Shout out to Herbies Health Store for topping up our watering can, and loaning us their shop brush to sweep away the cobwebs so some greenery and iced coffees can be enjoyed on the comfy benches this summer!

This task was also a lovely way to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of JB's first ever GoodGym group run back in June 2014!
