A trip down one of the Pompey alleys was on tonight's plan. Keen beans Rosie & Rachel were first to arrive and take over the bench. And Jo joined them with litter picking supplies.

There's been some resurfacing work going on so it looked cleaner than usual. However, we did find a lot of rubbish in the bushes and stuffed down the fences.

With some bending and stretching and recreation of the fairground grabber games, we did manage to get some of it out.

Most interesting finds were a denim jacket, an e-scooter battery and half a litter picker. There were soooo many plastic bottles and cans that we managed to fill the small bags many times over. As it's Jen's bin day tomorrow she's kindly helping recycle some of the cans and plastics in her green bin. 🚮

Harry's handy hoop was put to good use as well as their DMs which were used for bottle crushing! Rich & Harry are both on the countdown to half term and some time off. Are we jealous? We're trying hard not to be! Tracey has entered a triathlon to celebrate the start of her half term. Good luck!

Thanks everyone for coming along and thankfully staying dry this week!!
