Be Outside, Be Moving. Spread Love, Not Germs.
Please follow all COVID guidelines - stay local, stay away from other people and keep safe!
To provide a little bit of variety to our daily exercise and to finish January 2021 challenge with a bang we will create a Rainbow from our walks. How it will work: Everyone will be assigned a colour to find and they will need to take a photo of an item of that colour, one selfie would be great as well:)
Sign Up and get moving!
We'd normally be joining Southsea Beachwatch, but since we are now in full Lockdown, this is now a virtual litter pick. Instead find any piece of beach that needs Goodgym's attention, and please send Mel Saxbee a picture for the report. We will be re-joining Southsea Beachwatch just as soon as their beach cleans are back up and running.
For many of us not being able to travel far enough to get into the depths of the countryside is sorely missed but there are more animals in our cities than we might first think! When out on your runs try and spot Animals on Buildings - this could be real ones such as squirrels, cats or birds but could also be sculptures, signs, graffiti, murals etc. Get outside, get active, look up and get spotting!
Send photos of as many as you can find to me on whatsapp directly or to my email email@example.com with your name, any other stories from your outdoor adventure. No time limit on when you start but all pics to me by 1800 on Wed 3th Feb.
Who can find the most??
It's the last weekend to complete those kms for the January challenge and if you've been pushing yourself with long runs, you may want to use different muscles on your bike.
Choose any route, any distance, following whatever Covid rules apply in your area at that date .... and just push the pedals.
Log it on Strava and send a cycling selfie to me on Whatsapp or firstname.lastname@example.org by 6pm on 31st January.
