It seems like the sun didn't really want to get up this morning, which was perhaps fitting for those of us who are experiencing yet another lockdown, albeit with a different name.

Despite grey skies, drizzle in Brizzle and seaside mists, a good number of GoodGymers headed out as the day got lighter.

Great to see some festive photos from the Leicester gang who met as a small group.

In the South West, Deb and Paul headed to the Old Severn Bridge in their santa hats and Matt saw the sunrise as he completed a 145 mile run 😳 as part of the Lakeland Lapland virtual run.

Portsmouth runners took photos all around the coast and enjoyed the moody seas and occasional bit of cover.

Happy shortest day everyone! The days get longer from now and we can start looking forward to a bit more sunshine!

If you enjoyed joining in with our solstice running, we also have a bank holiday relay going on next Monday and we'd love to get a few teams seeing how far they can get in 12 hours. You can see the details here
