We enjoyed a lovely, sunny run over to Old Alleynian Rugby Club. Once there, we got stuck into a few tasks for the evening, including sweeping the astro, scraping paint, and planting sunflowers 🌻. To round off the session, we had a fun game of touch rugby. As it was Ian’s birthday, we also got to celebrate with some well-earned cake before heading back.

lovely to be back helping at Dawson's heights in the light of day since the clocks changed! the team divided and conquered - woodchipping, barrowing soil to beds and re-lining plant beds outside the community centre. We were delighted to have Denzel along to lead the run for us - his first but hopefully not last visit to GG Southwark!

A group of 12 members of Southwark, including new member Amanda, headed to Copleston Community Centre to deep clean their kitchen.
It's a great task as the Community Centre supports so many local organisations, including the Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers.
With 12 of us in the kitchen it was a tight squeeze but we managed to get everything spotless in 40 minutes.
Then we headed to The Gowlett Arms for pizza and a great evening!

Last week, 6 Goodgymmers went to distribute some flyers for RJ4All..The flyers were about electrical safety. Giovanni from RJ4All met us at Old Spike with the leaflets, already organised neatly into different locations. We split into two groups, Emma and Daryl in one to head towards Canada Water. And the rest of us headed towards Elephant and Castle. It was roughly a 10k round trip, but a beautiful evening, the first group run of the year that was not in the dark!
