Welcome to GoodGym Southwark! We "get fit and do good" in this borough of London. GoodGym is for all and we are a friendly and inclusive group. Whether you like to run, walk, or cycle to help out community projects and/or older people in Southwark, we'll be here to encourage you.
There is so much you can get involved with from maintaining local community gardens, stocking food banks, sorting donations for a rough sleeper project to help Mr. H with his weekly shop or prescription pick-up (you will need to be DBS checked to do this) - every GoodGym session is different.
Get started with your first (or next) GoodGym activity and claim a good deed in the "Sessions" tab or read more about our latest sessions in the "Reports" tab.
If you're still unsure, no worries, it can be daunting the first time. Take your time and reach out to Sam if you need/want to find out more.
The area activator for Southwark is Sam Lefevre (he/him).
Area activators support the growth of GoodGym, are passionate about fitness and community, and are here to help us do more.
These brilliant GoodGymers make up the Southwark TaskForce.
The TaskForce supports the operation of GoodGym in Southwark. They manage social media accounts, support new GoodGymers and organise sessions.
