Tonight we met at Heart and headed into Tiny Boo for a deep clean of the nursery space. There were 13 of us, so it didn't take long to clean the furniture, toys, carpet and climbing frame. Some of the group did the surfaces in the corridors as well.
We were supposed to be having a game of rounders in the park but it was rainy and wet so we decided just to head to the pub for a rounder drinks instead!
We went to Head of Steam and found 2 Shuffleboards where we had a tournament with Bryony and Jitheesh winning their rounds but Bryony taking the final win...Well done Bryony!
Some of the boys played darts & pool. It was great catching up over a drink, thanks all & see you for the next installment.

Seven GoodGym members met at HEART in Headingley to give the 'stay and play' nursery space (Tiny Boo) a spring clean. Much wet wiping, spraying and vacc-ing resulted in a more sanitary condition and once we sorted and put away the toys, it looked a very inviting space to 'stay and play'. We managed to tear ourselves away and had a very spring-like 4km run around the green spaces of Beckett's Park. We returned to HEART for some stretches and a cool down. Looking forward to having a social drink here again soon. A very good start to May

Tonight 6 GoodGymers met at Headingley Enterprise and Arts Centre to help them with their nursery space. We did a deep clean of toys, tables, chairs & the climbing frame. We're getting quite good at this now so we got through it quite quickly. Naomi found a little, green present on one of the toys from the children, hence the name of this report!! We then went on a 3K run around Headingley but poor Ben had to do a bit longer as he realised that he'd left his keys at Heart! Welcome to newcomers Helen & Sophie who joined us tonight, it was great to meet you both :)

Tonight we met at Headingley Enterprise and Arts Centre to do a deep clean of the nursery space. Tiny Boo is a drop in centre for preschool children & GoodGym Leeds support them regularly by cleaning the play equipment, the toys, furniture and carpets.
We had a bit of fun trying out the very miniature slide but obviously worked very hard otherwise...honest!
Sadly it was too icy to run tonight but we'll get back to running next week!
It was lovely to see some returning newcomers Ben, Chloe & Freddie and to meet Caroline who had visited us from Wandsworth GoodGym.

Tonight 8 GoodGymers met at Heart and had a run for half an hour which warmed us up nicely.
We then headed back to Heart to help them out by doing a deep clean of their nursery space, cleaning the toys, chairs, removing stains on the carpet and Kat took her shoes off and cleaned the climbing frame! We also dusted the hallways and the radiators. It was our first indoor task of the autumn & it was very much appreciated!!
It was great to see Heart so busy with many groups using the centre.
It was also really nice to welcome two newcomers, Nikki & Uzair. Welcome to GoodGym Leeds guys, we hope to see you again soon.
