Tonight 6 of us got together for a plog of the Trumpers Way end of the canal near Hanwell. To our surprise it was relatively clear compared to the usual mess...
Harvey, Liv, Jen and Milly did a 5k loop beforehand. Milly bowed out after 3k- slowly slowly catchy monkey....
Onto the litter picking!
Michael bounded into those bushes (not)
TIsh tiptoed towards that litter
Jenni jabbed away till she got what she wanted (the cans, just out of reach)
Liv let us as it
Harvey happily helped guide the way
Emily made a few good finds
Spot the Corona bottle!
Thank you to Tish for joining us from Hounslow, lovely to see you!
We said our goodbyes after the famous Harvey social distance selfie
~see you all soon and stay safe~
Thanks to Jen for arranging the mission!
Canals and rivers are a world away from every day. They’re free, open spaces we can all enjoy - and it’s our job at the Trust to keep them that way.
