Severn Bridge Night Race
Super fun on the bridge - at night!
Location
Burnt Barn RdBulwark

Date and time
19:30 - 21:20Join us in an officially measured 5 mile route on the Severn Bridge at night. You can't get lost and the route is lit throughout.
We start on the downstream pedestrian access-way, run the full length of the bridge then cross over the toll booth plaza bridge to gain the upstream side. We run down a footpath at the side of the Aust Services and gain the upstream pedestrian access-way which we follow all the way back to the other side with a convenient finish in the underpass.
Weather: Last year, on one of the dates, the weather was wet and windy. Those that ran, thoroughly enjoyed the added adventure that these conditions brought to the challenge. Please be advised that we will only cancel an event if the authorities close the bridge to traffic.
Travelling to the race HQ Access couldn't be simpler. The event HQ is very close to Junction 2 of the M48. You just need to drive to the post code provided or if you know it, the B&M roundabout in Bulwark (Chepstow) and then follow our signs to the car parks and event centre.
You'll need to pick up your number from the main hall. They will have glow in the dark face-paints available should you wish to use them. At around 6:50pm you need to make your way to the start (it will be signed). After the run, return to the hall where we will have inclusive cakes and hot drinks available ... or if you wish the bar will be open too.
