MEET AT DUKE'S AVENUE GATE ENTRANCE, OFF THE A4

Thanks to the 65+ acres at Chiswick House and Gardens we are hosting 2x groups of 6 this Wednesday to help with a POPLAR task - socially distanced, of course.

We'll join the fantastic Chris, to help with more trimming of the epicormic growth of the trees on the avenue - lucky for us they have plenty of trees and plenty of space!

Please do bring your own gloves and a head torch - if you have one. Chris will have lamps to hand to aid us in the lower light. Also note the House and Gardens close at 19:30 - hence the earlier task.

WOOD love it if you could come along! (Get it?)

P.S. If you, like me have NO IDEA what this means here's a little info on epicormic growth: Epicormic growth is a plant response to damage or stress. It is the growth of new shoots from epicormic buds that lie dormant beneath the bark. Learning is FUN!

How are you getting there?
