Mr S recently moved into his new place and todays task was to help him unpack and settle in. Favourite items were found and put in accessible places, and lots of boxes were completed. There's still more to do but he's now one step closer to making his new place feel like home.

today we celebrated Jacks 26th parkrun volunteering here at Juniors, having started as Duke of Edinburgh he decided to stay volunteering. That shows the wonderful attitude of young people which was also showed by the 13 who attended today, i was on marshal post 6 & i was so impressed with those at the front who crossed the finish then ran back to cheer and encourage the rest of the attendees and not just their siblings, pure joy.

it was very cool this morning as the volunteers arrived, defiantly Autumnal with the sun shining but coats were required. 368 people attended & conditions were good for running/walking but for volunteering i went hat & gloves as it was cold.

A return to Mrs Js to finish off some recent work that was done there, the pre autumn growth spurt on plants again left them needing a bit more of a trim. There was also quite a bit of weeding to do.

It was Quiz Night at Alfred Nichols Ct in Norwich.

There are limited activities or events available at this venue, so tonight's session gave local residents the opportunity to come together for a social evening.

With 14 GoodGymer's & 8 residents, we split into 4 teams, for rounds of London Facts, Marine life, Famous Faces & Music Intros! Shout out to Priscilla attending her first session.

Halfway through we stopped for refreshments - provided by Norwich City Council. And after a few contested answers... we announced the winning team this week 'Untold Stories'.

I'm pleased to learn it is in fact illegal to feed the birds in Trafalgar Square!

Well done everyone, we will aim to come back here soon.

Five GoodGymmers teamed up with a local community group aiming to create a wildflower meadow for next year. Some of us also did a Parkrun on the way to the task.

We arrived at Branford Road and were given the job of weeding and thinning out grasses within quite a large area. We got to work and had a fun morning chatting and also getting on with the task at hand. The hour and a half went by quite quickly in the sun, and we were pleased to help the group achieve their goals.
