Tonight 12 GoodGymers & 1 dog ran 5km to help clean up the Lakenham Way.
When we arrived Bek handed us each litter pickers and bin liners, and directed us in pairs to the areas most in need of a tidy up.
Amongst the finds this week were a discarded umbrella, a bike tire and a used homework book!
After 45 mins we had filled 9 bin bags ready to be collected, before we made our way back to the Forum.
Shout out to Elizabeth who celebrated her big birthday with her 150th Parkrun last week, and also Alina who will be running her 200th Parkrun this weekend!

I marshalled at Eaton Junior Parkrun. It was a bright but old and windy morning for a run round the park for all the youngsters. I was at marshal point 8 with an arrow sign to make sure everyone stayed on course.

I helped marshal at Eaton Junior Parkrun. Two children earned wristbands, for 50 and 100 Parkruns respectively. Although an overcast day it stayed mostly dry while the youngsters ran.

I marshalled at Eaton Junior Parkrun. There was still frost on the ground and mist in the air when I went out to marshal. Luckily there was no ice on the course and the mist soon cleared with bright sunshine to give us a lovely morning for a run.

I helped at Eaton Junior Parkrun by marshalling. Luckily it didn’t rain for too long. Several children claimed their milestone wristbands this week.

I marshalled at Eaton Junior Parkrun, standing on a windy stretch of path cheering on the young runners and giving high fives to those that wanted one to spur them on.

We had a chilly and frosty morning doing some edging at Jenny Lind park, it was quite a challenge with the frozen ground but GoodGym never lets anyone down.
The task owner was expecting us to complete one flower bed, but in true GoodGym style we managed to edge three flower beds!
A big welcome to Paul who was doing his first GoodGym deed.

I helped out as a marshal at Eaton Junior Parkrun. It was a cold morning and there was a chilly wind blowing across my marshal point as I stood encouraging the young runners and giving high fives to those who wanted them.
