Marshalls, Scanners and Tokens were all taken care of by GG at Great Salterns parkrun this morning.

Whilst Dave had 3 DoE students on the parkwalk and tailwalk roles. He learnt loads about Minecraft!

We welcomed Yvonne on her first GoodGym mission this morning - welcome Yvonne!

On a very chilly morning, we helped out at Great Salterns parkrun's first birthday event - which did involve some parkrun cupcakes!

Tony, Sinead, Judy and Tess were out on the course as marshals, alongside Dave as a parkwalker. Up at the funnel end, Jen was on timekeeping, Yvonne had finish token duties and Katie and Sam were on the barcode scanning team.

Great work everyone, especially on such a chilly morning!

On a very blustery day we had GG representatives at all the Portsmouth parkruns.

Katie was at Lakeside doing finish tokens (very cold hands) Aoife was scanning at Great Salterns in the mud Tony was at Southsea tailwalking and trying to resist the string seafront gusts of wind. Ellie was tail walking at Havant

Well done to everyone who volunteered over the double parkrun Christmas Eve / Christmas Day events.

SinéadA soggy Saturday for parkrun but that didn't stop us! Extra kudos to Katie London who ran down, ran 1 lap and stayed in her shorts & GG t-shirt to do the scanning!

Hi viz donned, we took our positions around the course. Vicki got her favourite place, the "Bermuda Triangle" - other names are available! Mel & Sinéad kept up the pace at the back and we were all glad to see them at the end of the 3rd lap!

A nice hot drink afterwards was well needed.

Event 2 of Great Salterns parkrun today and we turned up in a gang to help marshal.

Kudos to Duncan (with a hangover....) and Sinéad who both ran AND volunteered scanning and token sorting respectively.

Jo and Val were on finish tokens, Jen and Alice on scanning and cake distribution.

Rachel, Vicki, Judy and Katie were all at marshal points around the course. Vicki's was the "most" glamorous and inspired the report title.

We also had John, Wilson and Sam displaying the GG colours running around the course.

Cups of tea were available from the cricket pavilion afterwards before most of us started on the second good deed of the day.
