Tonight we headed up to Bedford Fields to meet Beth to do lots and lots of weed pulling. Nothing is more satisfying than pulling a load of sticky weeds with a rake! Lots of nettle stings later, we finished off by picking some raspberries and gooseberries, they were delightful! Four GoodGymers helped out with the Green Fair in Woodhouse this weekend.
Laura & Lynn helped set up the marquees and Helen went along after the fair had opened to ride the Climate Action Leeds bike to power their juice stand. Beth organised the whole thing! What a great event. Good work team!

There's no better feeling than a hot summer GoodGym evening! Tonight we all get nettled at Bedford Fields, weeding all the front ready for the Green Fair on Saturday. Jubz & Alice were instructed to 'dig like a badger' by Beth when digging out wood chip! Khara & Megan were troopers & entertained some children that were at the garden by letting them help paint some wooden slats & Christian gave them a lift through the garden in a wheelbarrow! They were delighted!

We finished off by eating some raspberries in the garden & running back to Heart.

Adam flew the GoodGym flag at Bedford Fields this afternoon for a spot of gardening with the volunteers. Good work Adam!

The Leeds gang had a great night at Bedford Fields yesterday.

We ran up via the ridge & did some leafleting (see the separate report) & then headed to Bedford Fields to clear a path of lots of sticks and brambles, while another group cleared the public path. A few of us managed a break to play on the swing which is hidden at the top of the garden (it's not all hard work).

Super Helen had to her wear her cape & mask to celebrate a whopping 202 good deeds...what a hero!! Well done Helen!

Jubz then took a group to the pub to see Man United get beat... while the rest of us took a slow run back to Heart.
