How many GoodGymmers does it take to assemble a garden bench?
11 GoodGymers made their way to help the British Heart Foundation in Kingston upon Thames.

A second straight week at the BHF home and fashion store and, after putting in the hard graft in the first floor storage space last Tuesday, tonight's session certainly drew the crowds. The allure of assembling flat packed furniture was strong as GoodGymmers gathered from far and wide to be a part of this most glamorous task. It drew Jo out of her hibernation and her first GG task of the year; Jade who brought her other half; Louise made a heroic dash across the capital and Lucy and Sam both came over from the far flung town of Richmond. True commitment.
In typical GoodGym style everyone got straight into the job and put together an array of items including a pair of garden benches, several coat stands, mirrors, office chairs and plenty more. All this despite the tray of biscuits and soft drinks that the kind staff provided to compete for our attention.
The run to the store involved a sun-soaked lap of Fairfield Park. The return leg was considerably cooler and we took the scenic route along the riverside to clock 5km in total.
Big thanks to Julie for the pics and Claire for leading the task.
