York marathon/10 mile 2023
Run a pretty race in York, with plenty of GG cheers along the way

09:30 - 15:30🏃♀️🏃♂️If anyone is thinking of heading to York for the marathon or 10-mile race on Sunday 15th October, let us know you’re coming here
👟 We’ll be doing York parkrun on Saturday 14th (great opportunity to get your Y for the parkrun alphabet!)
🌺 We’ve then got a lovely bulb-planting community mission after parkrun (with the option of brunch after that for anyone who fancies it!)
🏁 On the Sunday, look out for GG tops on the course and especially at the water station at mile 3 (on both courses), which we’re running again. If you wear a GG top , we’ll look out for you and give you an extra-big cheer. After the water station, we’ll head to the bottom of the final (short) hill to give you the cheers you need to get to the finish line.
🥳 It was one of the GG race team’s Big 6 races in 2018, which was a lot of fun so we’d love to welcome any GoodGymmers who fancy it this year too!

We meet in the conference room of York CVS. The door to the conference rooms is around to the right of the main entrance and the Denham Room is the very first room on the right as you enter.

Area Activator for GoodGym York. Loves everything running, from parkrun alphabet collecting to marathons. Will run for cake!
What to look out for
Age Restriction
GoodGym welcomes anyone aged 18 or over. If you are under 18 then you will be unable to participate in any GoodGym activity
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety when running and at a task.
