Food for Life WalesFood for Life Wales seeks to ensure that no one in South Wales goes hungry or is malnourished. They have been active in the South Wales region for over 20 years.
The correct postcode is CF11 6QT
GoodGym Cardiff and Vale have the opportunity to help them out one Saturday, prepping food for the many meals they make to help the vulnerable.
Please note this mission is for the MORNING shift which starts 11:00. This may include chopping vegetables to add to delicious curries, maybe packing up cakes to add to the meal packages, or a spot of cleaning in the kitchen. Wait until you see the size of the pots!
There is also an afternoon shift that starts at 2pm the same day. Tasks may sorting through food donations, and a final cleaning up for the day. It's all good fun and the Food for Life people are extremely appreciative our everyone's contributions.
Also, there will also be other volunteers present who are not GoodGym runners. Physical distancing will be maintained throughout the task, and masks and gloves can be provided but please bring your own just in case they run out.
How are you getting there?
