Sunday 3rd December
Lily Ros earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Lily completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Lily was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Preparing the garden for a long cold winter, Lily, Saber, & Marie-Noëlle joined top gardener Marilyn to clear the gutter to help catch rain water. Under the watchful eye of resident Robin we cleared the paths of fallen leaves. Perfect way to warm up on a winter Sunday! We returned to the composting bays for some chopping & turning compost, helped by Châtelaine Lily, Bashful Pingu & Sporty Coco. Hen Power!

This morning Rachael, myself and Liy went to help a lovely gentleman with his garden. We hacked brambles, weeded and cleared rubbish as he was worried when he looked out the window, it was such a mess and he couldn't do it. Throughout the task we were kept entained by his chat and banter. A throughly enjoyable task that was really appreciated.

Kingston upon Thames Report written by Claire Dunne
Tonight we were back at Canbury Gardens for Part 3 of the GoodGym flowerbed and had lots to celebrate.
Claire was completing her 100th task and Marie-Noelle her birthday.
Claire was given her cape, crown and card for 100 tasks and we had a quick warm up in the park.
Claire, Emma, Julie, Catherine, Lily and Sabir ran to Canbury Gardens where they met Marie-Noelle.
In the park after a quick trip to the tool shed to collect spades, wheelbarrows and watering cans we headed to the woodchip pile. Marie-Noelle and Sabir fetched water from the river to give the plants a drink whilst everyone else loaded up the wheel barrows.
Claire, Marie-Nolle, Lily and Emma spread the woodchip whilst Julie, Sabir and Catherine kept the wheel barrows coming.
It look about 12 wheel barrows full of wood chip to cover all the areas in between the plants.
It’s now ready for the final stage to put up the fence. Keep an eye out for the next GoodGym flowerbed task.
