Big shovel energy tonight at Holy Trinity, team! 💪🏼 One of our fave return fixtures — barrows loaded, wood mulch flying, and the orchard garden finally got the thirsty tree bases and borders the mulch they’d been begging for. Parched no more! 🌳💦
Squad on task: Adam, Ben, Fi, Katie, Michael, Rich and yours truly, Yianny. Absolute mulch-ines, the lot of them. 🍾
And because it was the end of the month, social snuck back into its rightful evening slot — chef’s kiss timing. 😊 Ben went full Bake Off with homemade feta parcels and veggie sausage rolls (someone give this man a task-and-tasting badge 🧰❤️), everyone else brought food and drink to match, and our host with the most, Tilly, ran a properly spirited round of Linkee that had brains and bellies both working overtime. 🤩
Thanks to Nicole and Adam for hosting us!
Mulch spread, minds boggled, tummies full — you really can’t beat a GoodGym Tuesday.

We had big plans for a summer picnic today — blankets, snacks, sunshine, the works. But with so much of our core crew off gallivanting elsewhere, we did what GoodGym Lambeth does best: pivoted straight into pure garden graft! 💪🏼
This week we headed to Papa’s Park to lend Valcie a hand, and the squad rolled up their sleeves for a proper tidy-up:
• 💧 Watering — yes, watering counts as a task (it’s for food production, we checked!)
• 🧹 Sweeping — no leaf left behind
• 🌿 Weeding — one small tug for a volunteer, one giant leap for the flowerbeds
• 🛍️ Bagging it all up — turning garden chaos into tidy little parcels of achievement
A stellar turnout from, Ben , Michael , Katie and Jo kept the energy high and the park looking sharper than ever.
Since this was meant to be a social at heart, the team wasn’t going to let a change of plans stop the vibes — an impromptu drink afterwards sealed the deal. 🍾 Proof that even when the picnic blanket stays folded, GoodGym Lambeth always finds a way to raise a glass to a job well done. 🧰❤️
Here’s to unexpected plot twists, park glow-ups, and the crew that shows up rain, shine, or picnic-cancellation! See you at the next one (which really will be a social!) 🏃🏽♀️🌱

Papa’s was the meeting point once again, and this evening’s crew assembled ready to put their best foot (and leaflet) forward: Ben , Fi, Libby , and yours truly, Yianny 💪🏼
Tonight’s mission? Pure, vital, community-shaking work: spreading the good word about GoodGym itself! 📣 Because if you’re going to run around doing good deeds, you might as well recruit a few more people to join in the chaos. Leaflets in hand, we canvassed the local area with the focus of a squad who takes “door to door” very literally — and we didn’t stop until every last flyer had found a new home. Mission: accomplished. Letterboxes: thoroughly GoodGym’d. 📬
Being a nice quick task, we even had time left over for the true reward of volunteering: an impromptu post-task tipple 🥂 Nothing says “we just promoted community fitness” quite like immediately sitting down for a well-earned drink. Balance, people. It’s all about balance.
Great work team — here’s to more leaflets, more laps, and more lovely little detours to the pub along the way 🍻❤️

Another scorcher, another squad of good eggs trading the sofa for a sweat sesh with a purpose! This week the Lambeth crew rolled back into Wyck Forest Gardens to reunite with the legend that is Heather, on a mission critical, code-red, hosepipe-adjacent task: watering 🥵💦
Turns out the recent heat has had the garden gasping worse than us after the run over — and the young whips (the apple, pear and friends contingent 🍏🍐) were in serious need of some TLC before they wilted into fruit salad prematurely.
On the team sheet today: Adam West, Ark , Ben , Katie , Michael , Rich and Yianny — seven brilliant humans who showed up to sweat first, hydrate plants second 💪🏼
The mission, soggily accomplished:
• 🛒 Two full trolley runs — basically a shopping spree, except instead of snacks we were hauling watering cans
• 🐘 One epic showdown with the 120kg water beast — if you know, you know. Respect to Rich who wheeled that unit without needing their own rehydration break afterwards
• 🧰 A generous helping of compost TLC, because even dirt deserves a little love ❤️
Whips watered, trolleys wrangled, water beast tamed — Wyck Forest Gardens is looking noticeably less crispy thanks to this lot. Heather, we’ll see you again soon (bring backup water beasts) 🥵🌱
Huge thanks to everyone who turned out — you ran so the young whips didn’t have to wilt. Same time next week? 😊🍾
