Southwark Report written by Funmi Ladapo
My time at BFC was great, knowledgeable and heart warming. Team leader Clive is great, gave historic background of BFC purpose. He provided a trolley to ease carrying the crates. I enjoyed my time and look forward to other opportunities. I couldn't finish all the task I had to go back to the office.

Lambeth Report written by Andy (he/him)
"It was wonderful to join the team of GROAD (Get Rid Of and Donate) sorting out clothing and items for people in need. It was my very first Community Mission and I was joined by Ivar Toft who has 95 Good Deeds under his belt and Taseen Barkat who is a newcomer just like me. The women we work with had an incredible sense of humour and made the work so easy! We came across some incredible items that people were giving away, pieces that you would remember from your own childhood and even some beautiful garments that will surely make someone's day. #
The sorting place is inside a community church, and they were having a local event as a community hub. While chatting, sharing stories and discussing the news we managed to sort all items of clothing and pieces to be donated. They do this all the time, and they even told us they recently got a grant from the local council to do even more work. It was a fantastic experience and really humbling to feel so connected to local people. The items will help those surviving the living crisis, homeless people and refugees. The team was also really complimentary of GoodGym and those involved, as they have been assisted in the past and showed a lot of care and patience towards all of us.
I would definitely recommend!"
