Alternative report title: A right load of scrubbers!
Firstly, big thanks to Katie London for stepping in with tonight's task. We headed to Squirrels garden to dig a new area for the planters to be moved into, remove some graffiti and pick some litter.
We ran down to Somerstown from Fratton CC and cannot confirm nor deny any rumours about what we had or didn't have with us. Some motorists may have had to double take. All I can confirm is that no accident forms were needed.
Jo, Sinéad and I took the litter pick detail, heading around the garden area and then into the playground. We even invented our own variety of the fairground grabber game.... you can just about see it in the photo.
Tony, Jen and Dave were on maximum exercise tonight and took on the digging of an area for wild flowers. It kept them nice and warm but no buried treasure was discovered...
Everyone else was scrubbing away at the graffiti, determined to get rid of all signs of Robert, Luke and friends. The graffiti removal fluid smelt very strong and did make an impact. We also talked about making our own graffiti or painting in that area.
Next Wednesday we're back to the garden to move the planters over to the other side. More digging and some wheelbarrow action too! Sign up here to join us.
