Training session

(not) parkrun

it's the next best thing!

Description

I miss park run!! And I'm sure I'm not alone so lets meet up for a (not) parkrun once a month to soften the blow of not being able to do the real thing.

Meet at the Lawns Cafe on Hove Lawns for 9.15am. We'll do a quick 10 to 15 minute litter pick on the beach or lawns so bring gloves and an old bag. We'll then re-convene at 9.30am for a short fitness session of some moves to ensure you are fired up and ready to go for a 5km run (or as it's looking pretty hot we might opt for a swim instead!)

Date and time

09:15 - 11:00 Saturday, 8th of August 2020

Sign up by 8:00am on Saturday 8th August so we can let Tara know who to expect.

There's space to change and leave bags and toilets. We're not planning to do anything purposefully dangerous, but GoodGym takes no responsibility for your safety during group runs, you participate at your own risk. Participants accept full responsibility for items stored at YHA Brighton, and YHA Brighton and GoodGym will not be held liable for any losses or damages

New to GoodGym?

This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.

New runners are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.

There's a place to leave bags and a toilet at the start point, all you need to do is bring your trainers. It's free to try - get involved!
