Poets' Corner Community Garden
A dedicated piece of land, where residents work together to garden – and in the process build relationships and a stronger feeling of community.

What's the story?

Tahera Begum from the Poets Corner Community Garden has been in touch asking for our help to bag, wheel and redistribute wood chip for this vivid little community garden in the heart of this beloved East London estate.

What will it involve?

  • You will be met by John from the Poets' Corner Garden, and our Isabelle, longstanding , regular Task Force member to spend 60 minutes together blitzing this fun gardening task.

  • You will meet at MORRIS HOUSE, Roman Road E2 0HP, on the Bethnal Green Estate.

Health and safety

  • You will be well spread out and outside in the open air.

  • You should bring your own gloves, hand sanitiser (and face covering - just in case you wind up working in a smaller outdoor space).

How are you getting there?
