Community mission

...and then it said "Good job I'm a helicopter"! (Hang on Debs, isn't the joke meant to go first?).

6 GoodGymers made their way to help the Wild Things forest school in York.

We arrived at Millthorpe school to find that Deb's and soil team 1 had managed to shift the majority of the soil across to the wild things outdoor learning space leaving us with about 10 minutes of shovelling before the drag racing began.

Luckily task owner Emma had some additional tasks to keep us occupied for the remainder of the light/time left. Deb's and Ben eagerly set about emptying the sand pit (..as instructed and ever on the look out for rats) while David, Amy and Ed were tasked with clearing a bed for willow cuttings. Meanwhile Katie chased the dog with barrows of weeds. After the sand pit the next job was fishing the leaves out of the pond (which was looking lovely after GG's intervention last year) and resulted in some very zen Goodgym-ers .

After about 45 minutes it became clear that we'd exhausted all of Emma's tasks, so we said our farewells and headed home.
