I must start with an apology.

It has come to my attention that SOME people have commented that my mission reports are a little misleading. THESE people have, I have heard, said that my reports might not be true (insert supershocked emjoi!). ONE person, apparently, has claimed that I'm a lying good-for-nothing nincompoop. Well, maybe they're right. Not the nincompoop bit, but the other slanderous bile. Maybe I have fiddled with the truth a little bit, expanded on the realm of fact a touch, played fast and loose with seriousness and entered the world of silliness.

But is that so bad, I SAY IS THAT SO BAD!? Maybe we haven't driven really fast in cars or fought criminal masterminds or worn capes, but that's because we've been busy. Busy doing some of the best darn good this city's ever seen. Okay, OKAY! Okay, well anyway, on to a really serious recollection of yesterday's lovely mission to the equally lovely Mrs L.

GoodGymer Steve (aka THE BOSSMAN) and I (aka NINCOMPOOP no.8) got to Mrs L's fast. Real fast. But I suppose that's what happens when you're travelling on modified super-bikes with jet engines.

Okay, OKAY! Give me a rest man!

Following a little jaunt across the South East to Mrs L's, we were met with smiles and a little patch of green in need of just a touch of sprucing. Getting to it, we picked and packed leaves, pulled weeds, swept, and reset some small bamboo dividers, and all with the fuel of some lovely juice and conversation provided courtesy of Mrs L.

We didn't do much more than tidy and spruce but we left a little patch of green that was ready to be enjoyed as our summer moves into Autumn. Having done our work, said our goodbyes to the lovely Mrs L, and both of us more relaxed than when we arrived, we climbed on our super-bikes and hot-tailed it to the depths of the city to fight crime, drink bourbon, and look tough....
