The race is on to beautify the roadsides of Oxford before the bulb planting season closes for the year.

Headed up by Councillor Mark Lygo and Alistair from Marston Community Gardening, Goodgym shouldered our shovels, donned our gloves and waterproofs and got planting.

After a soggy few hours we had managed to plant a whopping 75KG of bulbs along Marsh Lane, one of the main routes up to the John Radcliffe Hospital.

We cant wait to see the fruits (or blooms) of our labours in the Spring.
