Left Bank Leeds
Left Bank Leeds is a multidisciplinary arts venue set in an amazing Grade II* listed former church building in Headingley, Leeds. It’s a unique and impressive event space, in which we host exhibitions, festivals, pop-up cinema, talks, afternoon teas, music events and performances.

We've been asked to head over to Left Bank to 1) weed their gardens, and 2) check the Cardigan Road area, around Left Bank, and collect any litter that we see. We will split into two groups, and each will spend 20-30 minutes on each task.

We will be provided with gardening equipment, but if you have a trowel and gardening gloves bring them along. For the litter picking aspect, we have lots of litter pickers and purple bags, and our aim will be to clear as much as we can in the time we have available.

Please wear reflective clothing, a head/body torch and wear gloves if you have them.

For those that want to run/ cycle to the task, we will meet at Hyde Park Book Club at 5:30. It is about 3km to Left Bank from there. If you'd rather meet at the task, head straight to Left Bank, ready to start the task at 6. Please let me know when you sign up whether you will head straight to Left Bank or will meet at HPBC.

Hello all. I've updated the group run. We will meet at HPBC and run/cycle over to Left Bank for the task. We will also be gardening as well as litter picking.

It's only about 1km from HPPC to Left Bank. I could plan a longer route if this suits folk. Some good hills?

Sorry just checking in - the task is still listed as being led by Gemma, but I'm aware you're not attending, it's listed as 3km to the task (and options of 5-7km are listed on the task) but as Helen mentioned it's only about 1km as per shortest distance. Also as there's a litter picking component, have the pickers been passed across to someone? I can bring a couple with me if needs be.

(Or come and pick them up this afternoon if this hasn't been arranged)

Sign up by 12:00pm on Wednesday 2nd February so we can let Gemma know who to expect.

Options are available to run between 5km and 7km in total

Remember that we run to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.

This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you can't run for more than 15mins without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us or see if there's a starter session coming up in your area.
