Ealing Sharing SpaceAbout
We have been asked to distribute flyers for an Ealing-based community project Ealing Sharing Space among residential houses around Ealing Broadway. At the same time, we can drop leaflets for the Ealing Friends of the Earth.
What is Eco Ealing Sharing Space?
It is a free, weekly community event for residents of the Ealing borough to discuss, learn about, and take everyday climate action together. It is a safe place for people to come together to share stories, skills (sewing, upcycling, sustainable cooking), stuff (e.g. toys and books), and practical steps we can all take to become a more resilient community. This community project's location is the Ealing Project cinema, weekly on Wednesdays. Learn more here.
Who are Friends of the Earth Ealing?
Friends of the Earth is the UK's biggest grassroots network dedicated to protecting people and the planet. Its advocacy programs focus on environmental, economic and social issues, highlighting their political and human rights contexts. The campaigns currently run by the Ealing group are focused on replacing fossil fuels with renewable sources of energy, natural expansion of forests, reducing the use of plastic packaging, and improvements of the UK's cycling network and its safety.
