On Monday night, TRAID in Kilburn needed help with closing our their sale period. The task was to help pack up their remaining unsold stock, so it could be sent back to their depot, ready for a new arrival on clothes.
Goodgym team came to help, packing away the rails of clothes into huge boxes. We split around the store, Cherian, Lee, Beatrix , Danny and Kat tackled a large rail of clothes . Emily and Tabitha paired shoes before bagging them.
In no time at all, the job was done! Many hands made fast work!
We stopped for a team photo, then headed off. The TRAID team were really happy with the help and look forward to seeing red t shirts again at the end of the next sale

A magnificent, seven GoodGym members came together to help their local community by keeping fit and doing a good deed! Our original good deed was to help a local park clearing paths, but unfortunately our host had to cancel. Fortunately the phoenix cinema requested us to distribute some leaflets for the some classic old films that they are presenting. We were more than happy to help this jewel in the crown of Finchley! There’s not many boroughs with one of the oldest cinemas in the world! ( that has continuously shown films and starts with the letter. P! ) We soon distributed all the leaflets using an Indian running technique. This then allowed us to do a nice loop along Mutton brook and back to the cinema. But not before we had made use of a outdoor gym and done some paired squats to build knee strength. It was a lovely evening to be out running and doing some good! Give a shout out to Cherian who led the group back to the Phoenix on her second group run.

Cherian Li earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Cherian completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Cherian was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.
