With Denver temperatures averaging +14c above normal for the past few days, it’s hard to feel very Xmassy! Nonetheless, Metro Caring Food Market is serving those who require assistance at this time of year. With a full stock of all the healthy basics, there was also posh yogurt, a healthy (?) dark chocolate cherry trail mix and fresh Chilean cherries 🍒 as nice Xmas treats. The cat meowed the whole way home on the bus!

AJ attended at Denver’s Metro Caring Foodbank and was assigned her usual ‘dry goods restock’ position. Even though pasta and rice were in short supply, there was a plentiful choice of soups including yummy posh clam and lobster chowders. Ahoy me hearties!

AJ attended at the last Denver Metro Caring Foodbank Market shopping session before the annual Thanksgiving Day celebrations and was kept very busy re-stocking the shelves for the many attendees who came to shop for their Thanksgiving meal prep. It was hectic but everyone was in good spirits and looking forward to spending time with their family and friends.
