AJ assisted local community organisers to pick up food and drink items for distribution. Everything went very smoothly and the task was completed as scheduled.

This session started a little different than usual, with a briefing highlighting the issues caused by the Cyclospora outbreak and how it impacts on the foodbank.

Turned out there is a list of items to look out for and take out of circulation!

Beyond that, business as usual.

AJ and her army of fellow volunteers had a huge supply of fresh veggies (courgettes, carrots, 🥕 broccoli 🥦 , and basil!🌿) to sort, stock the market and re-box for distribution. Spiderman couldn’t be bothered to join in and instead just ‘hung about’ watching us do all the hard work. So much for being a superhero. 🙄
