Pride Pickings

Saturday 10th June 2023

Written by Dave

After the parade took us to the Pride festival site, we donned our pickers and set about looking for treasure. A lot of colourful non-natural feathers were about, plenty of ciggie ends and a bunch of very helpful people who used our litter bags as bins rather than leaving it for us to grab. Dancing to the beat of our drum (and the loud ones next to us) 6

Saturday 10th June 2023

6 Goodgymers danced, clapped and marshalled their ways along the Portsmouth Pride Parade. Parade Peeps! 🏳️‍🌈

Saturday 11th June 2022

Written by Sinéad McCarthy

We all had so much fun marshaling the Portsmouth Gay Pride Parade! The sun was shining 🌞Approximately 1000 people walked the parade, lead by Portsmouth Batala. So lovely to organisations and the community all participating.

Katie and Abby were the designated lollipop ladies. Only one person swore at them.

The rest of is made sure the parade stayed on route.

More photos to come!
