11 indefatigable Goodgymmers ran to offer a hand to the Friends of Tottenham Green tonight. Champions.

Time Flies...

On a night that saw good ol' GGHaringey host GG tourists from Islington, Camden, and Greenwich, our GGH crew was at its best behaviour - Gramps even attempted a serious pre-run briefing (with a big helping hand from Dave).

We ran just under 4k to the task while poor Kathleen from GGIslington, doing her first run with us, was subjected to torture by 1001 questions on the way. She was very kind and obliging and we truly hope we haven't scared her off :)

At Tottenham Green, Laura from the Friends group welcomed us with litter picks while she prepared things for us. We lived dangerously picking up half empty cans of strong cider and far too many cigarette butts.

Once Laura was ready for us, we moved over to Tottenham Green East where we were divided into three teams: a litter pick team, a leaves collecting team, and a soil-turning team.

Before you knew it, 8pm was upon us. Time flies when you're having fun and all that. Gramps cleared a 10 minute extension with our resident timekeeper who reluctantly agreed :) We cleared up after ourselves, agreed our next visit date with Laura, and then selfied our way into a rather long goodbye. No one in particular seemed in a rush to leave.

Next week we're at Traid on Wednesday and the Westbury Banks Nature Reserve on Sunday. Come to both please!
