Fantastic little turnout for a chilly old night in Newham. Buffs, gloves, tights, fleeces...you guys had all the gear. They say 'there is no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing'. Graham being the exception to this rule, with lava like blood...the lad's impervious. I envisage his wardrobe to have five GoodGym t-shirts, five red shorts and five white socks.

Ruth hit 10 GG tasks yesterday (woop), Dan and Mel are closely following her. Hilary and Rosie are nearing the big 2-0. Many milestones representing all your consistent graft, fresh faces making an impact and closing in on 'regular' status. And the 'regulars' are eyeing up the blackshirt. Love it.

After a quick warm up to get blood flowing to those extremities, we did our random question "biggest eye sore in London?" Old Street Roundabout, Stratford Shopping Centre, a flyover in Bow, Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre and bad social housing to name a few. Wonder what London's skyline will look like in 10 years, wonder what our answers would be to the same question.

A nice brisk run over to the school, a touch of respite from those baltic winds, with a few tasks to get stuck into. As per norm, 90's tunes humming in the background, and Paul on the button with what needed doing. Moving several bits of furniture, and painting. No problem, you guys got straight to it, chucking stuff in the garbage and applying a delightful magnolia as an undercoat on the school halls. Our 30min slot flew by, with a lot to show for it.

A bit of a headwind to ramp up the challenge of the return run, things that come easy are normally rubbish anyway. A semi stretch in the Aquatics Centre for closure of a solid eve. Some of us then went onto Neighbourhood, for drink and a bite. I was serenaded with a birthday song, and made an embarrassed face. Ruth and Dan went wild on 241 Mojitos. Kevin questioned the purpose of Quorn. Oh, and we realised it's Tim's birthday today (i think?!), happy birthday matey!!

Next week we are helping out Cody Dock, they're setting up for a xmas festival, and need our 'muscle'. sign up here

See you beauts then!
