Storm force winds greeted a mischievous 18 GoodGymers last night. With our good old warm up done, we retreated into the Aquatics Centre to do our random weekly question. It was then that I was 'serenaded' to another birthday song, in wonderful mellifluous tones. Adding to this experience, cut outs of my face, well, my younger face, follicles and all. A surreal start to the task, I held back a flooding of emotions to the best of my ability. Thanks for this guys, I think!

We welcomed back Alicia after a long time away and Ama on her first session at GGN, hope you guys had a good run, all those extra hands add up, many thanks. We then shot over to Cody Dock to help set up for their winter fair, this Sunday. With big blustery winds out, the temperature dropped several degrees, think that made most of us get a quicker run in. Simon greeted us, and as always was on the money. Quickly and lucidly explained what the tasks were, then you'll set to it. One group had to deconstruct stanchions, yeah stanchions, you don't know what that means? Well, you obviously ain't a 19 stone skinhead who works on the doors of nightclubs either. The other group put up some xmas decorations and gazeebos, moved benches... and stared longingly at the bar area.

Some of us decided to retire into a local bar, there was karaoke playing as we walked in. Graham nailed a really sincere look when we asked if he knew about it, coincidence I think not mate, that man loves a sing song. Great video of you guys getting stick into some country tunes. I foresee more of this next week! Our final session of the year, there'll be an 'Awards Session' after in the pub. So get ready for your thank you speeches, it's going to be ace. Sign up here for next week's task, looks like a new one, helping a children's outdoor playground in Hackney Wick. Courtesy of Esther. Should be short and sweet, I'm thinking relays to finish, yes? Glad you agree.

Right, see you beauts then
