Pinch Punch 1st Day Of The Month.

This morning 6 GG members carried out volunteering duties at the junior park run.

It was a cloudy and gloomy morning but at lease it was dry. Wayne, James, Victoria, Richard, Katie & Alys met at the bandstand with other volunteers. [James] carried out a course check earlier in the morning making sure there were no obstructions and that the course was safe for the kids to run. [James] also carried out his first first timers briefing today welcoming new runners and their families to the park run family, and he did a fantastic job.

In total 118 runners took part this morning and they were cheered and encouraged around the 2k course by all of us who were at different check points around the course, the marshals were very vocal this morning all doing a great job.

This Wednesday we will be at the RSPCA Carrying out some gardening duties, hope to see you there, don't forget to sign up.
