With the odds stacked against them and each step getting them closer to heaven a plucky group of goodgymers took on the task of chair jenga.

The mission was to empty the gallery of chairs that where being relocated to a new parish. The time frame was restricted by York parking rules on a busy thoroughfare. The goodgymers performed miraculous work that god himself would have been impressed by and made light work by using core strength and hill rep training to their advantage.

With a chain gang in place, the chair jenga was a success and no man in white van was harmed in the process. All chairs stacked to a near perfect fill ready for the scouts at the other end to hear of how a group of red t-shirted goodgymers took teamwork to new boundaries that needed to be written about.

The after task social for breakfast served up cream teas and breakfast paninis for our heroes and the conversation flowed with how big the cakes on display were and how the coffee shop became infamous for writing on its 700 year old exterior rather than defacing it's structure with a nailed on sign.

All went home with a sense of achievement, full stomach and a great core and upper body workout.

A big shout out welcome to Gill on her first GoodGym task and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
