After a rather cold, damp, windy start to the day, our super seven ploggers spent a very pleasant hour in and around Greenbank Park.

An area of particular concern was the lake; set in the picturesque gardens, it is home to a whole variety of water birds, including Canadian geese, moorhens, mallards, muscovy ducks, coots, and some very handsome crested ducks, to name but a few... Unfortunately, there was also quite a lot of litter floating alongside these beautiful creatures.

Undaunted, and remembering that 'we never set out to do anything dangerous', Sam and Matthew very carefully set about removing as much floating debris as they could manage, safely. Pauline kept a close eye on them, whilst taking pics.

Meanwhile, John had found himself a 'new' set of wheels and tried them out for size...don't sign up for the tour de France just yet, John. Jo and Tim searched far and wide to fill their bags.

Today's shout out goes to Molly, who, after having had weeks of studying and exams, gave up her Sunday morning lie-in to complete the first Community Mission, and then the second and onto her third! Well done, Molly.
